Melodie is an unreleased rhythm platformer where you navigate levels built around the beat of classic songs. Each track drives the action, platforms shift, enemies move, and obstacles appear in sync with the music. You control a character racing against a procedurally generated "Creature" through environments that change with the song's tempo. The prototype includes six tracks ranging from pop to electronic, each shaping the level layout and hazards in real time. Despite never getting a full release, the 2016 leak of Kuju Entertainment’s prototype gave fans a glimpse of its ambitious design. Tracks like The Chemical Brothers’ "Galvanize" and Public Enemy’s "She Watch Channel Zero" power levels where timing and rhythm are key. The Creature opponent adapts to the song's structure, making each run feel distinct. While incomplete, the prototype showcases a concept that married music and platforming in a way that still feels fresh, especially for those curious about unreleased PSP games.
