About Pizzaïolo-Ninja

Pizzaïolo-Ninja is a platformer with a twist: it’s built around the "Die & Retry" formula. Developed by WTJGames and published by Ratel Studio, it launched in October 2025 for PC. You play Tony Tribbiani, a pizza chef-ninja tasked with storming Bartony Tower to stop pineapple pizza from taking over. The game blends vertical platforming, trap-filled levels, and a global speedrun leaderboard. With 100 levels and a Streamer Mode that lets Twitch chat control your character, it’s a mix of challenge and chaos. Expect pixel-perfect jumps, instant respawns, and a story where pineapple is the real villain.

Gameplay

Each level in Pizzaïolo-Ninja is a vertical gauntlet of spikes, moving platforms, and timed obstacles. You’ll rely on Tony’s ninja agility, double jumps, wall runs, and precise dodges, to navigate. Death resets the level instantly, but you keep your progress toward unlocks. Sessions often involve 10, 20 attempts per level, memorizing patterns while balancing speed and caution. Streamer Mode lets viewers vote on moves, adding unpredictability. The 100 levels scale in difficulty, with later stages requiring pixel-perfect inputs. Controls are responsive, but the challenge is punishing; you’ll spend more time watching retries than celebrating successes.

What Players Think

PlayPile users rate Pizzaïolo-Ninja 4.2/5, with 89% positive reviews. Average playtime is 6.5 hours, and 47% of players complete the game. Community moods skew "Frustrated but determined," with some calling it "a masochist’s dream." Achievements include 37 total, with 15% of players unlocking any. Critics praise the tight controls but note repetitive level design. One user wrote, "The leaderboard keeps me coming back, even after 300 deaths." Speedrunners love it, but casual players might find the difficulty curve steep.

PlayPile's Take

Pizzaïolo-Ninja costs $29.99 and is best for fans of punishing platformers. The 37 achievements and global leaderboard add replay value, but 47% completion suggests it’s not for everyone. If you thrive on mastering mechanics through repetition, it’s worth the price. For others, the 100 levels might feel like a grind. At 6.5 hours average, it’s a short, intense experience. Stick with it past level 50, and the payoff justifies the rage.

Storyline

Your uncle is being harassed by the henchmen of Bartony, a tyrant of industrial pizza who wants to buy his pizzeria and replace it with a vending machine dispensing… pineapple pizza (yes, that’s a crime). You play as Tony Tribbiani, an Italian guy that's half-pizzaïolo, half-ninja (and 100% pissed off). Your mission? Climb to the top of Bartony Tower, put an end to his reign of terror, and save pizza’s honor before it’s tainted by… pineapple. Your superpower? You’re a ninja—on top of legendary flexibility, you’ve got killer agility, a must-have for scaling the tower and dodging the many traps in your way! Or for falling… but in style. Ready to fall… but not to give up? Let’s go!
