Slice Dice & Rice strips fighting games down to their rawest form. You don’t track health bars or memorize combos. Every match is a test of timing and precision where a single hit can end the round. Attacks clash and cancel each other, creating a back and forth duel that rewards careful observation over button mashing. Controls focus on simplicity with basic inputs, letting you parry dodge or fake moves to find weaknesses. The goal is to stay one step ahead while waiting for the perfect opening. Storyline

Our goal was to make fighting games accessible to anyone. An intuitive set of basic abilities allowed us to remove the need for memorizing inputs and move-lists, while retaining the complexity. Moves can be canceled to feint an attack, hits can be parried or dodged, and they can clash with one another. This creates a mind-game heavy gameplay, one that mimics real samurai showdowns
