Sneak 'n Peek turns a creaky old house into a battleground for hide-and-seek. You and up to one opponent dart between rooms like a living room, two mismatched bedrooms, and a large yard, each packed with up to five sneaky spots. The goal is to find opponents before they find you. Four distinct game types shuffle who’s hiding and whether spots shift between plays. Some hiding places stay locked in place, while others jump around when you enter a room again. The game leans into its 1982 Atari 2600 roots with pixelated charm and simple but effective mechanics. Its four modes offer enough variety to keep sessions fresh, especially in two-player games where both sides scramble to outwit each other. A small footprint for an early ’80s title, Sneak 'n Peek manages to cram in enough unpredictable hiding spots and competitive options to feel surprisingly replayable for its era.
