Tongari Boushi to Mahou no Omise lets you manage a magical storefront while juggling quests and character interactions. You run shops selling everything from pastries to furniture by completing mini-games to craft items. Each store type requires different skills and inventory management. Team up with a friend in co-op mode to divide tasks or combine resources. The game mixes slow-paced simulation with light RPG elements as you interact with a cast of students and teachers. The sequel expands on its predecessor with more spells, creatures, and shop options. A new castle area adds a hub for checking in with the king and tracking progress. Players appreciate the depth of customization and the way mini-games tie directly into shop success. While the DS touchscreen handles inventory neatly, the 2010 release feels modest compared to later simulation titles. Still holds charm for fans of cozy management with a fantasy twist.
"Magic Shop" has added the new element that allows players to open their own "shop" while continuing the game system of the previous work. Players can open various shops such as cake shops, restaurants, clothes, and accessory shops. Players create products arranged in the shop by playing mini games.
