21 is a straightforward card game where players aim to beat the dealer by landing a total closest to 21 without exceeding it. You draw cards incrementally choosing to take more or stop when satisfied. The dealer follows fixed rules revealing their hand after all players act. Wins come from either a higher total than the dealer or them going over 21. A special win condition exists if your first two cards add to exactly 21. This 1976 arcade version predates home computer blackjack by nearly a decade. It strips away modern flourishes for pure mechanical simplicity. With support for both single player and multiplayer modes it maintained popularity in arcades through the 80s.
