About

You are piloting a cruiser when your hyperwarp drive fails inside a massive asteroid field. The game forces you to find a high density laser pulse inverter while dodging debris. You must blast your way out of this tight spot using single player controls on the Atari 2600. This shooter came from Amiga and originally had plans for a December 1983 release as part of a canceled three game cartridge. It finally appeared as a limited edition standalone cart in 2010 under the Video Soft label. The tight control scheme feels responsive despite the simple graphics on this retro system. Players have noted the difficulty spike when managing speed and aiming simultaneously. This title stands out because it was delayed for decades before reaching collectors. The atmosphere of sudden danger creates a tense pace without needing complex mechanics. Fans of classic arcade shooters will appreciate the direct action and lack of filler content. It remains one of those rare titles that arrived much later than its initial design date.
