3 Deep Space casts you as a pilot navigating a procedurally generated asteroid field while shooting at approaching enemies. The fixed third person perspective gives a crude pseudo-3D effect that was decent for 1983 hardware. Controls are basic by modern standards but responsive enough for quick dodging and targeting. Powerups come in limited supply and vanish quickly requiring timed grabs between volleys. The difficulty scales steadily as wave counts increase.
