In the 30th century, humans are being rehired to do what robots once handled after automation drives up costs. You play a worker for the Earth Transit Authority sorting mysterious “Proprietary Units” in a high-tech post office. What starts as a routine job quickly spirals into something bigger as the ETA raises the stakes. Alongside your duties, you encounter a group of humans plotting to dismantle the robotic regime. Your actions determine whether you aid the rebellion by smuggling supplies or uphold the system by delivering what’s sent your way. The game leans into its absurd premise with dry humor and a satirical edge about labor and automation. Its SteamVR support lets you physically interact with objects in 3D space, adding a layer of immersion to otherwise mundane tasks. While the story is straightforward, branching choices create agency in a world where every package might hold a secret. Players appreciate the quirky setting and the way it turns a simple sorting game into a subtle commentary on work and resistance. Toxodon Games crafts a lighthearted yet pointed experience that’s easy to pick up but leaves you thinking about the bigger picture.
The Earth Transit Authority, trying to cut costs has hired you to perform tasks once performed by a more expensive robot. It is your job to sort Proprietary Units for Transport and Containment, objects created by the ETA to simplify transportation of goods all around the world. But your task will not remain so simple, as the ETA continues to increase your workload, and their profit margins. In light of humanity's newfound importance, a small group of new employees are taking advantage of the situation to try and topple the status quo. Assist your fellow humans by moving the resistance's equipment, or maintain the status quo, siding with your robotic overlords. The choice is yours.
