About

This is a 3D puzzle game where players stack irregularly shaped blocks into a 5x5x10 cube well. The goal is to fit them tightly without gaps, forcing blocks to disappear when fully packed. The controls feel oddly inverted compared to most games of the era. Pressing Start makes blocks fall faster while Select pauses the action. Shapes match the arcade Blockout version but the fixed well size adds rigid structure not seen in later adaptations. The cartridge art is a direct copy of the original Blockout design, a quirk that hints at its roots. Released in 1989 it plays like a relic with stiff input and no modern conveniences. The grid never shifts or resets, maintaining relentless pressure as the pile grows. Community play is sparse but dedicated fans note the block physics feel unusually precise despite the hardware limitations. No online scores or leaderboards just the raw challenge of filling impossible spaces until collapse.
