About

Aaargh! Condor casts you as a determined underdog navigating a chaotic forest filled with lethal hazards. Side-scrolling action has you dodging snakes, spiky creatures, and eggs dropped by a giant bird while racing to grab a spear. Throw that weapon at the condor before it reaches a child at the mountain base. Points come from survival and precision, but one wrong move means losing a life. The challenge ramps up with fire, arrow-shooting enemies, and mysterious glowing eyes in later stages. This 1983 Commodore 64 game leans into absurdity with its mix of hazards and frantic pacing. While its graphics feel dated by modern standards, its relentless obstacle variety and old-school difficulty keep it memorable for retro fans. The inclusion of quirky elements like porcupine attacks and animated eggs makes it a standout relic of early arcade-style design.

Storyline

Avoid the snakes, arrow-shooting man, porcupines, condor-dropped eggs and, in later levels, fire and eyes in the forest. Get to the top of the mountain and get the spear. Throw the spear at the condor before he gets to the child at the base of the mountain. You receive points for spearing the condor and avoiding arrows and eggs. You lose a life if you touch (or are touched by) a snake, fire, forest eyes, or porcupine, are hit by an arrow or egg or if the condor gets to the child at the base of the mountain.
