Abduction Bit is a retro-styled platformer with cooperative multiplayer action. You play as one of two aliens tasked with kidnapping humans across four distinct environments. Each level requires teamwork to freeze targets with a sci-fi weapon, disable their memories, and shuttle them to a waiting UFO. The gameplay mixes fast-paced platforming with simple shooting mechanics, emphasizing coordination over complexity. Levels range from urban settings to military installations, with each stage offering increasingly chaotic scenarios. The game stands out for its deadpan absurdity and 8-bit charm. Its quirky humor shines through scenarios like stripping captured humans before teleporting them away. While not graphically ambitious, the tight controls and nostalgic pixel art appeal to fans of old-school arcade games. With co-op support and straightforward mechanics, it’s a brief but lighthearted trip back to the NES era. Released in 2016, it remains a niche indie title with a cultish appeal for retro gaming enthusiasts.
Two aliens must catch many humans for some experiments in four stages: construction, hotel, military base and laboratory. To catch the humans the aliens use a sci-fi gun that paralyses the target for a number of seconds, during which time they destroy their memory so they cannot remember the incident. Once the humans are caught they are shaved and stripped of their clothes to be teleported to the UFO.
