Abiotic Factor puts one to six players inside a research station where everything has gone wrong. You play as a scientist trying to survive after an alien containment breach. The facility is filled with monsters from other dimensions and a military group called The Order that wants to kill everyone and steal their tech. You build bases, craft weapons, and manage resources while dealing with radiation and strange anomalies. The game mixes shooting mechanics with heavy simulation elements like oxygen management and base defense. The community data shows this isn't a casual walk in the park. Players have unlocked 53 achievements so far, with an average rate of just 27.3 percent. The hardest challenge is the "Ragnarok" trophy which only 3.30 percent of players have earned. This low completion rate suggests the game offers serious difficulty and deep mechanics for those who want a real survival test. It stands out as a complex co-op experience where teamwork is the only way to stay alive against overwhelming odds.

Storyline

Home to the world's greatest minds, GATE operates a global network of secretive research laboratories, spanning every field of scientific study - and the realms beyond. As a GATE employee you extend the bounds of human knowledge, and seek to explain the unexplainable - including anomalies and paranormal entities: from gravity-distorting artifacts to supernatural creatures with an unbridled instinct for violence. Safety, security, and secrecy are of the utmost importance… usually. After a catastrophic containment breach, your workplace has become a cosmic battle zone: anomalous entities are on the loose, enemies from other dimensions are invading via portals, and an arcane military sect - known as The Order - is targeting personnel and entities indiscriminately, aiming to seize artifacts and put an end to the chaos. Containment procedures have failed and help isn’t on the way. Stranded miles beneath the surface, it’s up to you and your fellow scientists to band together, plan your escape, and make this underground complex your new home - for now.
