Abyss Crew drops you and up to three mates in a creaking steampunk submarine prowling the ocean depths. Each crew member handles a distinct role: steering the vessel, scanning sonar for hazards, manning cannons, or keeping the engine from imploding. You’ll chase glowing mineral deposits while fending off hostile subs, crushing machinery, and eerie creatures that drag themselves across the hull. The run-based structure means every voyage resets, but you can tweak loadouts and strategies between dives. The game leans hard into its mechanical heft, with clanking metal and hissing pipes adding texture to tense encounters. Co-op play demands tight communication, misfiring torpedoes or letting pressure build too high can sink the whole crew. Set for release in late 2025, it’s already drawing comparisons to underwater classics with its blend of resource management and chaotic teamwork. PC players get first crack at steering this mechanical beast.

Storyline

Year 1923. Recent discovery of orichalcum, a powerful mineral found deep in the oceans, triggered a new industrial revolution. Now, countless submarines roam the depths in search of rich veins, leading to underwater conflicts. But seamen are speaking of greater threats hiding in the abyss... Abyss Crew is a multiplayer coop game aboard a steampunk submarine. Each player is a member of the submarine crew - pilot, gunner, sonar, or engineer. Explore the abyss to find precious mineral - but beware, as sprawling menaces lurk in the darkness...
