After-H: Moon of the Dead is a co-op shooter where you and up to nine others defend a lunar base from relentless zombie hordes. You navigate a large 500-square-meter facility, using guns and teamwork to clear rooms and push through five progressively tougher levels. The setting, a moonbase overtaken by creatures stirred by some ancient force, adds a layer of claustrophobic urgency. Every session feels like a scramble to escape, with respawns and limited resources keeping the pressure high. The game stands out for its sheer scale and the way it leans into chaos. With players respawning constantly and waves of enemies overwhelming defenses, coordination is key. Community players often note how the mix of fast movement and tight gunplay keeps things hectic but fair. While it leans heavily into VR mechanics, the core loop of defending outposts and breaking through barricades works just as well in traditional setups. A 1-10 player survival fest with no room to breathe.
Your squad is the last zombie survivor of a lunar regiment. The base you're in has been completely infested by entities awakened by a cursed moon. It's up to you to work together to get through the 5 levels as quickly as possible, gradually bringing you closer to the outside world and freedom.
