Agent 9 is a shooter that never actually shipped. It was meant to be a spinoff for the Spyro franchise where you control the green dragon with a laser gun instead of fire. You would have taken on secret agent missions similar to those found in James Bond films. The gameplay focused on stealth and shooting rather than the platforming seen in the main games. Fans got a look at some concept art and details before development stopped, leaving this title as a piece of gaming history that exists only on paper and in early builds. The project had a lot of potential but ultimately got cancelled by Universal Interactive Studios. While no community ratings exist for a game you cannot play, the concept remains popular among Spyro fans who wonder what could have been.
