Agrou is a multiplayer strategy game where players take roles in a village haunted by werewolves. During daylight hours villagers debate and vote to execute a suspect they believe is a werewolf. At night the real werewolves secretly pick their next target. Characters like the seer thief and hunter grant special abilities that can tip the balance but require careful use. Victory goes to villagers if all werewolves are killed or to the werewolves if they outlast the village. The game relies on quick thinking and reading others. Every conversation carries hidden agendas and players must weigh limited information to form strategies. Co-op modes encourage teamwork but the anonymous roles create constant tension. With a 7.5 10 on Metacritic it balances simplicity and depth making it a tense back and forth of deduction and deception.
Each game, a group of villagers gather around the fire and face a problem: werewolves hide and eat innocents among the players! Every day, they get together and have to debate who they think are guilty. The player gets sacrificed the next night. When the sun is down, the werewolves decide on their next victim. Among the villagers, some players have peculiar roles and powers: the seer, the thief, the hunter... Much needed help that has to be used wisely and strategically! If all of the werewolves are eliminated, the villagers win the game. On the opposite, the werewolves are victorious and the village gets torn apart.
