AI Dungeon is a text-based RPG driven by artificial intelligence. Instead of prewritten plots, it generates stories in real time based on your choices. You play as a customizable character navigating sci-fi, fantasy or horror scenarios. Dialogue and actions shape the narrative with outcomes that can shift unpredictably. The game works on PCs phones and browsers supporting solo or co-op play. The AI engine adapts to almost any input letting you try unconventional strategies or dialogue. Some players log hundreds of hours crafting branching epics while others enjoy shorter experimental sessions. Since launch in 2019 it’s drawn praise for its flexibility though the lack of structured goals might not suit everyone. Simple text interface makes it accessible but depth comes from creative thinking.
