AiCaterine is a side-scrolling platformer where players guide a magical elf stranded in the future. After discovering an ancient artifact, she must journey through shifting environments to restore it and return home. Each level blends traditional platforming with time-based puzzles requiring precise jumps and creative thinking. The controls are responsive, and the stages mix vertical and horizontal challenges. Developed as a fan project by zikes, AiCaterine hit PC in late 2022. The game earned a 77 on Metacritic, with critics praising its clever time mechanics and fluid movement. At around three hours, it’s a brief but cohesive adventure. The hand-drawn visuals and tight level design make it a standout in the indie platformer scene.
