You strum a six-string controller to blast enemies as you battle through waves of vikings, aliens, and skeletal pilots. The game turns air guitar into a weapon system letting you fire lasers charge beams or call in dinosaur rides. Each level mixes rhythm based combat with over the top boss fights set to 19 tracks by Mr Fastfinger and Samppa Siurala. The soundtrack drives the action making every strum a direct hit on the screen. Kinect integration makes physical movements part of the gameplay though a standard controller works too. The single player campaign leans into absurd humor with retro arcade energy but the 2017 release date means it lacks long term updates or multiplayer.
