AIV Evolution is a railroad management sim that lets you build and maintain train networks on PlayStation. It’s a console adaptation of a 1994 PC title with overhauled visuals and controls tailored for the system. You’ll handle route planning, station placement, and traffic flow while balancing budgets and expansion. A new feature lets you switch to a 3D perspective to ride trains and survey your growing city from the tracks. The 3D view was a rare touch for its time and set the stage for future entries in the series. While the core mechanics stay faithful to the original, the updated interface and polygonal graphics gave it a fresh look for console players. The international "Global" version later added extra content but this base release remains a solid entry for fans of methodical infrastructure building.
