Alien Hominid is a fast paced run and gun platformer where you play a short green alien fighting through waves of FBI agents to reclaim your stolen spaceship. The controls are tight and responsive letting you bounce shoot and explode your way through levels packed with enemies and destructible environments. Up to four players can team up locally for chaotic couch co op battles that mix precise platforming with over the top firepower. The gameplay feels like a classic arcade rush with modern polish. The hand drawn art style gives everything a distinct cartoonish energy that pops even by today's standards. Released in 2004 it still holds up for its relentless action and creative level design. With support for split screen multiplayer it became a staple of party rooms and LAN parties. The Behemoth's debut title carved out a niche for its pure energetic fun that keeps fans coming back over two decades later.
