Alisia Dragoon is a high-speed shooter and platformer that packs relentless action into every level. You play as Alisia, a warrior who blasts enemies with multi-directional shooting that automatically locks onto targets. Alongside her are allies like the DragonFrye and Ball O'Fire, each bringing their own attacks such as fireballs and electrified strikes. The game mixes scrolling shooter mechanics with platforming jumps as hordes of enemies swarm from all angles. The real standout is the chaotic pacing and variety of foes, from crawling centipedes to flying gargoyles. Companions add layers to combat by letting you switch between different attack styles mid-battle. Released in 1992, it brought fast-paced, bullet-hell energy to the Genesis. The combo of auto-aim shooting and tough enemy waves keeps tension high throughout the single-player run.
