All or Nothing drops you into an enemy camp to steal critical documents before time runs out. You start by recovering a lost watch to track your countdown, then navigate a maze of warehouses. Each requires cracking a safe for a key to access the next. Along the way you collect ammo explosives and cash but the real challenge is avoiding automatic camera shifts that track your movement through isometric 3D spaces. The clock ticks relentlessly as you balance exploration with escape. The game’s clever camera system dynamically switches four angles to keep you visible around obstacles a feature rare in 1984 ZX Spectrum titles. With its blend of time pressure puzzle solving and combat it carved out a niche among early adventure games. Decades later its mechanics still feel brisk and purposeful for players nostalgic for 8-bit strategy under pressure.
The player parachutes into the camp and must initially find his watch that has been lost in the parachute jump in order to keep track of the remaining time, after which a transmitter may be used to request more time if necessary. While searching for the hidden documents, the player must gain access into a series of warehouses, some of which house keys that then allow access to other locations. This is done by cracking a safe code in the warehouse office; cracking the safe will reward the player with a key, which can then be used to gain access to the next warehouse. As well as housing the hidden documents the player is searching for, these buildings contain supplies such as money, ammunition and explosives.
