You wake up in a house you do not remember entering, with no memory of who you are or where your family is. Allison Road drops you into this nightmare as a first-person adventure where you must survive five nights while the clock ticks toward 3am. You explore rooms to find clues and hide from Lily and other dark entities stalking you through the halls. The game runs on Unreal Engine 4 and lets you switch to Oculus Rift for a more intense view if you have the hardware. The tension comes from the feeling that something is watching you even when the screen goes dark. A single developer started this project and grew it into a team of six over time. Players rate the atmosphere as genuinely unsettling without relying on cheap jump scares. The mix of old-school mechanics with modern graphics creates a distinct look that fits the story perfectly. You spend most of your time trying to figure out what is real versus what is just a trick of the mind inside the house.
