Angels vs. Devils lets you pick a side in a cosmic battle and build your character with visual and ability upgrades. As an angel, you use energy attacks and support skills like healing and shields. Devils specialize in fire, poison, and offensive spells. Fight in third-person view, switching between teammates during single-player campaigns. Explore levels to collect power-ups and coins while buying gear between missions. Six solo campaigns exist alongside multiplayer modes like deathmatch, capture-the-flag, and collectible-based challenges. The game offers varied multiplayer options including team-based objectives and free-for-all combat. Since its 2003 release, players have enjoyed customizing characters and experimenting with ability combos. Modes like Obstacle Race and The Curse add replayability through different goals. Up to eight players can join in on competitive matches with distinct win conditions, keeping the action fresh across solo and group play.
