About

You’re Werner Mueller, a Sysop at a tech hub in Futura City when a midnight blast throws you into chaos. Angst: Rahz's Revenge casts you as a survivor navigating industrial warzones, trading bullets with faceless foes in a labyrinth of gears and steam. The DOS-era shooter sticks to straightforward mechanics, run, aim, fire, repeat, with a focus on rapid combat and environmental hazards. Each level feels like a crumbling workshop turned battlefield, packed with revolvers, shotguns, and the occasional explosive pipe to turn the tide. The game’s niche charm lies in its Jules Verne-inspired steampunk vibe, complete with brass machinery and retrofuturistic weapons. While it lacks the polish of 90s FPS giants, its dated aesthetic and no-nonsense gameplay have earned a cult following among retro shooter fans. Released on New Year’s Eve 1996, it’s a time capsule of early first-person action with a mechanical twist.
