Annihilator Tank drops you into the cockpit of a battle-ready vehicle fighting waves of enemy armor across four escalating levels. You handle basic movement and turret aiming while a radar and compass help track threats. The action unfolds on open maps where trees crumble under fire, leaving no cover for you or your foes. Each stage ramps up the chaos until Combat Unlimited mode throws endless tanks at you. Your only goal? Blow as many as possible before your single tank goes up in smoke. Released as shareware in 1995, the DOS original only let players sample the first level publicly. What sticks out is the no-frills approach to tank combat. The controls feel deliberate but responsive, and the lack of hiding spots keeps every firefight tense. With four save slots and progressively tougher scenarios, it’s a relic of early ’90s arcade shooting that still rewards quick reflexes and steady aim. The dated graphics and sound don’t hide the core loop’s addictive simplicity.
