Anomaly Living is a co-op horror game for one or two players. You search for a missing person named Leia while navigating a world full of creepy creatures and strange environmental hazards. The game mixes slow tension with sudden scares as you explore dimly lit spaces, solve basic puzzles, and avoid things that lurk in the shadows. Teamwork matters, especially since the AI partner can be unpredictable, sometimes making things harder instead of easier. The game leans heavily into eerie atmosphere and awkward coordination. Early chatter from testers points to a strong sense of isolation despite the co-op focus. While not graphically stunning, the sound design and sudden jump scares land well. Due out March 2025 on PC, it’s a short but spooky trip for players who don’t mind occasional frustrating moments with their digital teammate.
