Aquattack is a 1984 shooter from Interphase where survival and adaptability are key. Play as a motor boat in the first two levels, dodging enemies and using limited fuel that you replenish by grabbing drops from friendly planes. Some foes are shootable, others not, quick reflexes matter. Level three switches to a hang glider with new threats and no fuel to worry about. The final stage has you ferrying bombs through a guarded energy field, one at a time under time pressure. Beat all four levels and they return, harder each time. The constantly shifting mechanics keep things fresh, one moment you’re balancing ammo and fuel, the next you’re racing against a clock. High score focus adds replay value as enemies get tougher and faster. Its 1984 MSX/ColecoVision roots show, but the core of dodging, shooting, and adapting remains sharp for arcade fans.
