Arcadegeddon casts you as a player character helping a struggling arcade owner fight off a corporate takeover. Team up with up to three friends for a run-based shooter where each session remixes the layout of procedurally generated levels. You’ll jump between weapon upgrades, power-ups, and biome-specific hazards while battling corporate bots and glitch-like enemies called Data Demons. The game loops through mini challenges and boss fights, with hidden rewards scattered across shifting environments. What sets it apart is the focus on chaotic co-op action, blending fast gunplay with roguelite progression. Community feedback highlights the replayability of randomized stages and the fun of experimenting with unlockable abilities. While some note the learning curve for its quirky mechanics, fans praise the retro aesthetic and the way each run feels distinct. The single-player mode offers a solo take on the same formula, though the game shines brightest with friends.
Gilly, the owner of a local arcade, is trying to save his business from a faceless mega corporation. To do so he takes all the top arcade games and connects them all to make a super game. Unfortunately, the mega corporation, Fun Fun Co. hacks the game and injects a virus. You and your friends need to save the game and the last hometown arcade. Fun Fun Co. owned enemies and the Data Demons/glitches that have occurred due to Fun Fun Co. tampering are taking over Gilly's game. FFC enemies are prototypes to their real world weaponry and this is their test site. Gilly needs you in the fight!
