Arcadian Rift puts you in the boots of a space pirate operating in a lawless sector ruled by rogue AIs. You pilot your ship to scan for passing cargo vessels and board them to steal loot. That plunder lets you buy new weapons, gadgets, and upgrades to strengthen your character before hunting down the four AI factions that control the system. The gameplay blends fast shooting with tactical planning as you manage your arsenal while exploring the star map. The game stands out because it forces you to balance raiding expeditions with direct combat against powerful enemies. David R. B. designed a loop where every piece of stolen gear matters for survival in this single player adventure. Storyline

Take on the role of a pirate in a star system devoid of government and laws. Use your ship and tech to scan for passing cargo ships to raid for loot. Use this loot to build an arsenal of weapons, gadgets, and upgrades to hunt down the four rogue AI which have conquered the system.
