Arena is a first-person shooter where you battle waves of robots in high-stakes, enclosed combat zones. Set in a distant future, the game pits players against endless mechanical enemies in fast-paced, high-intensity matches. Customize your loadout with energy weapons and gadgets to survive each escalating wave of attacks. The focus is on raw combat and adapting to shifting enemy tactics in tight, claustrophobic arenas. The game’s single-player structure keeps the action focused on survival against AI opponents. Arenas change mid-battle, forcing quick adjustments to cover and strategy. While the core loop of fighting robot hordes isn’t impressive, the chaotic pacing and weapon variety keep it engaging. Due out for PC in May 2025, it’s a straightforward test of reflexes with minimal story or polish to distract from the gunplay.
