About

Arengius is a fast paced shooter where you pilot a space fighter through 13 stages of escalating chaos. You face off against waves of enemies and massive bosses starting with sand worms and giant slimes before confronting the titular organism. Each run lets you equip turrets sidecannons and powerups to overwhelm the screen with firepower but losing your ship means losing everything. Six distinct ships offer varied playstyles from aggressive assaults to defensive tactics. The game’s retro charm comes from its chiptune soundtrack designed to mimic NES hardware. Two difficulty modes let you tweak the challenge, Scatter mode removes shields and makes every hit lethal while Easy mode eases newcomers into the action. With procedurally generated hazards and boss fights that grow increasingly brutal it’s a test of skill and strategy. Players note the tight controls and escalating tension make it hard to put down despite its punishing difficulty.

Storyline

The whole galactic federation is under attack by the gigantic organism known only as Arengius! Having created the Skeleton Robot army, it's bent on galaxy domination! With the federation army under attack on all fronts, only you have a chance to stop Arengius and save the galaxy! Pilot your space fighter through the enemy stronghold, stopping at nothing to annihilate these threats to all sentient life!
