Ark Noir is an RPG that puts resource management front and center. You'll build characters using a range of Perks and scavenge randomly generated items to survive harsh conditions. The game plays out aboard the massive emigrant ship Noir, which is sinking into the ocean. Your goal is to either boost your Fortune by aiding survivors or follow clues to uncover the cause of the disaster. The game stands out for its strong focus on player choice and survival mechanics. Since its 2018 PC release, it's gained a following for blending character customization with a gripping narrative. Players can spend hours experimenting with different Perk combinations and strategies as they navigate the ship's deteriorating environment.

Storyline

The story takes place aboard a huge emigrant ship known as the Noir that is slowly sinking into the ocean. Whether you choose to increase your own “Fortune” and help the various survivors you encounter or focus on following the trail of clues leading to the truth of this terrible “accident” is completely up to you.
