"There are certainly better options in the genre, but if you are a fan of Smee’s past works, then you’ll be right at home here. You get a cool setting, a cast of quirky characters, and a story that goes all out on the comedy, sometimes to ridiculous levels. It’s never not comfy though and it’s the perfect type of VN to just sit back and play through in small chunks."

About

Art Style: Base 10 is a puzzle game from Skip Ltd. for the Nintendo DSi. You rotate and connect numbered blocks to build full shapes. The mechanics are tight and intuitive but the difficulty spikes quickly as you tackle more intricate designs. Focus is on spatial reasoning and pattern recognition with no distractions beyond the core challenge. The game’s minimalist art style pops with bold colors and crisp lines. Community feedback often highlights how the simplicity of design makes it easy to pick up but tough to master. Short sessions fit well with casual play but the late-game puzzles demand serious focus. Released in 2008 it still feels fresh for players who prefer mental workouts over flashy presentation.
