Astrogon is a fast-paced platformer where you navigate twisting paths by bouncing between walls and dodging obstacles. Collect color-coded orbs to shift abilities: red and blue let you safely touch walls of matching hues while green adds midair hops and yellow grants dashing maneuvers. Each level demands timing, spatial awareness, and quick reflexes as you progress through increasingly chaotic dimensions. The game’s Creative Mode lets you design and share custom levels, turning players into level architects with tools to build puzzles and traps. The standout features are its accessibility and replayability. Multiplayer modes pit friends or strangers against each other in real-time challenges, with global leaderboards tracking high scores. Over 100 customizable skins with visual flair like glowing auras and particle effects add a layer of personalization. Developed by a single French creator after a bizarre dream about geometric shapes, Astrogon’s minimalist art style and tight controls have earned it a dedicated following. With over 500 user-generated levels reported in its first year, the game thrives on community creativity.
A self-taught French developer, A.K.A Thorsen, had a revelation during a dream. Geometric shapes, space, stars, a circle, and a cube appeared to him that leaps from wall to wall and from obstacle to obstacle, in a dream so strange, that he must have woken up in the middle of at night to take notes, draw up Astrogon's first sketches, with the odd feeling and certainty that this was his next craziest project. At the time he had this dream, Thorsen, the “dreamer developer”, was developing “Infinity Land”: a retro arcade game, inspired by Mario maker, with a creative mode and a particularly rich and promising universe.
