Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - Special Edition is an action adventure set on the lush alien world of Pandora. Play as a Na'vi navigating jungles, skies, and conflicts between factions. Combat blends ranged and melee attacks while exploration includes climbing, flying on banshees, and interacting with wildlife. Co-op lets you team with a friend for shared missions and challenges. The story follows a familiar struggle for survival but with new characters and conflicts. The Special Edition includes the Sarentu Heritage Cosmetic Pack. This adds a weapon skin for your bow, a set of character armor, and a design for your mount. All are available at launch rather than through in-game progression. With no extra story content or unlocks, the focus is purely on appearance upgrades. Early player feedback suggests the base game has solid mechanics but repetitive side quests. Available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S since December 2023.
