Mel is trying to get married but her plans go sideways when her partner gets stolen by a rival. A ghost shows up to drop some heavy news about an evil ancestor who left Mel a magical orb capable of ending lives. She does not want the power or the baggage so she sets off to find the orb and break it before someone worse finds it first. You play through a classic point-and-click adventure where you solve puzzles and talk to folks in a fantasy world filled with strange creatures and old magic. The story keeps things moving even if the graphics look a bit dated compared to newer titles. Reviews on our site show players often rate this entry around four stars for its charming writing and solid puzzle design. It feels like a throwback to the early 2000s when these games were everywhere but still holds up well today.
