Axie Infinity lets you collect, train, and battle with creature companions called Axies in a player-driven world. Explore Lunacia, fight off invading Chimera, and gather resources to upgrade your team and territory. Battles happen in real time with single or group play while alliances let you combine land and materials to craft powerful guild-buffing artifacts. The game uses blockchain to let players earn rewards through play and trading. Its mix of strategy, creature management, and cooperative goals has drawn a dedicated community since 2018. The open world grows through player contributions making each session feel like shaping your own shared fantasy landscape.

Storyline

Axies are fantasy creatures that inhabit Lunacia - an open world owned, operated, and controlled by players. Lunacia is under attack! It’s up to you and your Axies to help the Princess fight off creatures called Chimera while rebuilding and strengthening the Kingdom. Chimera will be present all across Lunacia, making resource gathering a difficult task. Players will be able to take on Chimera in real-time battles either alone or in groups. Chimera will drop an assortment of resources, items, and blueprints used to upgrade territory and individual Axies. Form alliances with other players to combine land, pool rare resources, and produce Artifacts - limited edition items that provide powerful guild buffs which can turn a team of adventurers into powerful warlords.
