About

B Senjou no Alice: Alice on Borderlines is a first-person adventure game that tasks you with navigating 3D spaces as a female protagonist. Using a cursor to interact with objects, you’ll solve environmental puzzles and piece together a story about mysterious disappearances. The game opens with Alice arriving at a professor’s home only to find it abandoned. What follows is a surreal investigation that spans multiple dimensions, each with its own unsettling visuals and logic. Gameplay focuses on exploration and item use rather than combat, creating a slow-burn mystery that leans into atmosphere over action. Released in 1997 for PlayStation, the game stands out for its early use of 3D environments and cursor-based mechanics, which feel dated but deliberate. Its fragmented narrative and abrupt shifts between realities give it a cultish charm, though its lack of clear direction may frustrate some. With minimal combat and a focus on eerie exploration, it’s a relic of a niche era in adventure games.
