About

Bababadalgharaghtakamminarronnkonnbronntonnerronntuonnthunntrovarrhounawnskawntoohoohoordenenthurnuk is a first person shooter that throws convention out the window. Created for a 48-hour game jam with a theme inspired by James Joyce’s Finnegans Wake, it replaces traditional action with surreal visuals and minimalist mechanics. You wander a looping dreamlike environment firing a gun that does little to advance the experience. The focus is on tone and oddball presentation over gameplay depth. This one stands out for its bold concept and Terry Cavanagh’s signature quirkiness. At under an hour, it’s more of a poetic experiment than a game in the traditional sense. Players either embrace its strange charm or dismiss it as a gimmick. Available on Ouya and browsers, it remains a curious artifact of early 2010s indie experimentation.
