Bad Bots is a retro style platform shooter where you play as a mechanic stranded on a space cargo ship. After waking from cryogenic sleep you find the robotic crew turned against humans and the ship set to crash into Earth. You fight through waves of enemies using a mix of shooting and hacking to survive. The game splits into two modes a 60 second survival challenge against endless bots or a story driven campaign with boss fights puzzles and a sci-fi narrative. The pixel art visuals and fast paced action stand out most. Challenges Mode escalates quickly testing reflexes as robot hordes intensify. The campaign offers a tighter story with varied objectives balancing combat and problem solving. Though nearly a decade old it maintains a dedicated following with its tight controls and replayable challenge runs.
