Ball is a simple yet tricky arcade game from Nintendo’s original Game & Watch lineup. You control a hand that must catch and toss balls midair to keep them from hitting the ground. The first mode has two balls, rewarding one point per catch. The second mode adds a third ball, giving ten points for each kept aloft. The goal is to juggle as long as possible before a drop ends your run. Despite its small screen and basic mechanics, Ball remains a staple of retro handheld gaming. The jump from two to three balls dramatically raises the difficulty. Players often note the tension of balancing speed with timing, especially in the higher-scoring mode.
