Barely Alive is a chaotic co-op survival game that splits players into Hunters and Survivors. Two to ten people scramble in each session, with Hunters armed with bows and trail cams hunting down Survivors who must last until sunrise. Voice chat and radios let you team up, trick allies, or turn on them mid-match. The tension comes from second-guessing everyone, including your teammates, as the clock ticks toward daylight. The game thrives on shifting loyalties and frantic pacing. With every round bringing new alliances and betrayals, the pressure to trust or double-cross ramps up quickly. Players praise the simple yet tense mechanics that keep matches unpredictable. The proximity-based chat forces constant vigilance, making every whispered plan feel risky. It’s a social survival game that leans into the paranoia of group dynamics, with rounds that rarely last more than ten minutes.

Storyline

Step into a tense wilderness where 2–10 players face off in unpredictable rounds of survival and sabotage. At the start of each match, one or two players become Hunters with a bow and trail cams. Everyone else is a Survivor racing to stay alive until sunrise. Use proximity VOIP and radios to form alliances...or betray.
