As an amnesiac survivor, you navigate the demon-infested Nerve Tower floor by floor battling twisted creatures and scavenging gear to push deeper. Combat blends real-time action with strategic RPG elements letting you upgrade weapons and unlock new abilities. The tower’s shifting layouts and relentless enemies force constant adaptation as you balance survival with figuring out the mystery of your past. The PS2 remake overhauls the original with 3D graphics and a third-person perspective making the tower feel more oppressive and alive. Additional floors and monsters extend the challenge while the focus on resource management and permadeath stakes keeps tension high. Though its cult following remains niche the game’s grim atmosphere and punishing difficulty earn respect from fans of old-school RPGs.

Storyline
