You train armies and fight enemies while following a story about a hero named Mradin and his companion Giesnik. Side quests let you earn coins to upgrade characters, and the campaign throws in historical and mythical mysteries to solve. The game mixes tactical combat with narrative choices, giving it a different feel from typical RTS titles. With 63 units, 32 buildings, and 84 tech options, the strategy depth is solid. Eight magic spells add another layer to battles. The campaign's mix of main missions and side content offers a lengthy experience, though the 2008 release and Strategy First's track record might mean some rough edges.
