BCV: Battle Construction Vehicles turns heavy machinery into giant brawlers. Play as a driver piloting bulldozers, cranes, and forklifts in one-on-one combat. The goal is to protect your father’s construction company by smashing opponents with rams, hydraulic arms, and whatever parts you bolt onto your machine. Customize each vehicle’s stats, moveset, and look between fights. The single-player campaign has 16 stages of escalating battles, pushed forward by flashy anime-style cutscenes. A local two-player mode lets you test builds against a friend. The game leans into its quirky premise with no-holds-barred mechanics. Every vehicle feels distinct based on your upgrades, and the combo system lets you chain rams with grab moves or crushing blows. With 15 drivers and 14 machines to tweak, players return for new strategies. Though dated, the over-the-top animations and straightforward gameplay keep it engaging for fans of arcade brawlers. The 2000 release carved a niche for construction-themed combat that still stands out for its sheer weirdness.
