Beatmania 6thMix swaps out older tracks for a fresh batch rooted in the UK scene. Using a turntable and five keys, players match onscreen bars to timing lines as they scroll down. Each column represents a key or the turntable scratch function. Three white and two black keys handle standard inputs while the turntable adds a physical layer to rhythm challenges. Difficulty levels get a visual overhaul with colored labels, yellow for NORMAL, red for HARD, green for MANIAC. EXPERT+ mode cranks up the intensity with brutal course locks. The 27 new tracks focus entirely on UK underground sounds without carrying over older songs.
