Bedlam is a 1996 shooter where you pilot a squad of three remote-controlled tanks through levels swarming with robotic enemies. You blast through hordes of Biomex mutants using machine guns and explosives while smashing vehicles, crumbling buildings, and generally razing the environment. The controls emphasize rapid movement and chaotic firepower, with an emphasis on clearing waves of foes through brute force. Each level feels like a pressure valve releasing as you trade precision for pure destruction. The game stands out for its relentless action and surprisingly broad 90s-era platform releases including Mac and PlayStation. While the story about a robot-led revolt is thin, the over-the-top mayhem and destructible scenery keep it engaging. Players who enjoy high-octane run-and-gun chaos with minimal fuss might find it nostalgic, though modern systems won’t run it without emulation.
A fast paced action game where you run around a machine-gun wielding robot destroying everything in your path. There is a multitude of enemies and you can destroy almost every single thing on the map (buildings, vehicles, etc.). The reason for all this destruction is a revolution led by the robots against their human masters.
